Jibek Jolu ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application that helps users find roadside cafes along the routes of Kyrgyzstan. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Location data: When you use the map feature and grant permission, we access your device's GPS to calculate distances to nearby cafes. Your location is processed on your device and is not stored on our servers.
Reviews: When you leave a review, we collect the name you provide and the review text. We do not require or collect phone numbers for reviews.
Cafe owner data: Cafe owners provide their phone number and business information to manage their cafe listing. This data is stored on our servers.
Device storage: We use your device's local storage (localStorage) to remember your language preference and to prevent duplicate reviews. No personal data is sent externally from local storage.
We use the collected information solely to provide the app's services: displaying cafes on the map, calculating distances, showing reviews, and allowing cafe owners to manage their listings.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use any advertising or analytics SDKs that track users.
The app uses the following third-party services:
OpenStreetMap: For displaying map tiles. OpenStreetMap's privacy policy applies to map tile requests.
OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine): For calculating road distances. Only coordinates are sent, no personal data.
Cafe listing data and reviews are stored on our secure server. We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. We do not store user passwords or sensitive personal data of regular app users.
Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can request deletion of your review by contacting us. Cafe owners can request deletion of their account and associated data at any time.
The app caches cafe data locally on your device for offline access. This cached data contains only publicly available cafe information (names, menus, photos) and does not include any personal user data.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
